MyClient islooking for a professional with experience leading a team of technologically savvy individuals in a rapidly growing and developing environment, an industry expert, the best of his/her trade, an individual with experience maintaining a large Intel/AMD server shop with multiple operating systems both dedicated and virtualized. This individual would be responsible for setting the direction, defining the policies and creating the procedures used in a global enterprise to provide support for our customers and the mission of the Church.

The Team Manager manages discipline specific computing infrastructure in the area of Intel/AMD servers and is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining these core resources Church-wide. Within a given discipline, this position is responsible for integrating the many different technologies and system types used by the Church. The Team Manager manages multi-million dollar technology budgets, performs engineering design evaluations, develops a range of products, recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures, and sets engineering standards for the Church. The Team Manager leads a team of 7 to 10 engineers. The systems engineered by this position serve all of the employees of the Church and many of its members. Many of the systems are required to be up and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Team Manager represents the Church and interacts at a technical level with business partners and providers who are dependent on Engineering. Product Management, RAMs, Project Management, Church Conferences, General Authorities, all employees, and Church members are dependent on Engineering to support them for their technical needs.
